SCECLB67 Individual
What are your views on the general principles of the Bill and
the need for legislation to deliver the Welsh Government’s
stated policy objective (to make the Senedd a more effective
legislature by ensuring it is broadly representative of the gender
make-up of the population)?
I totally disagree with this, it should be
based on capability, not colour , race , creed or gender, if the
makeup were 90% women and 10% men I would be happy but only if
selection was based on measured capability.
What are your views on the system of enforcement and potential
sanctions for non-compliance proposed in the Bill?
There should not be any enforcement, this is
totally wrong we need capable people, regardless of gender, measure
capability please!
Are there any potential barriers to the implementation of the
Bill’s provisions? If so, what are they, and are they
adequately taken into account in the Bill and the accompanying
Explanatory Memorandum and Regulatory Impact Assessment?
Yes you are ignoring capability and those who
are not gender specific
Are any unintended consequences likely to arise from the
Bill?
Completely wasting taxpayers money again!
better capable candidates losing out to poorer ones, and the result
in our communities of less capable candidates
What are your views on the Welsh Government’s assessment
of the financial and other impacts of the Bill?
More wasted money by welsh labour on something
that is not needed, we need quality candidates who actually listen
to the people
What are your views on the balance between the information
contained on the face of the Bill and what is left to subordinate
legislation? Are the powers for Welsh Ministers to make subordinate
legislation appropriate?
Do you have any views on matters relating to the legislative
competence of the Senedd including compatibility with the European
Convention on Human Rights?
Yes, Senedd is totally incompetent and out of
touch with the people of wales
Do you have any views on matters related to the quality of the
legislation, or to the constitutional or other implications of the
Bill?
Its another example of Welsh Government doing
what they want regardless of the people of wales wishes - see 20mph
debacle and the largest ignored petition in welsh hgistory
Are there any other issues that you would like to raise about
the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum or any related
matters?
Anything else?
Please start listening to your electorate,
fixing the things that matter not just what you think will make a
great soundbite and fuel your propaganda machine.
